Conidae is
the most popular family for seashell collectors. It is for their species and
interspecies variability and so original and beautiful pattern. More than
600 - 700 cone species (and other hundreds subspecies and forms) live in
world seas and oceans in present time. We can suppose that more species will
be described in next years. During last 10 years (it means in the years 2000 -
2009) was described more than 60 new cone species and subspecies. It is
great news for us - cone collectors. We can hope and active take a share in
save cone shells habitats against their damage. Just so we will able to
admire beauty of new described cone shells.
